The mission of the Port Authority of Marín and Pontevedra Estuary is to manage, administer, and operate the Port and oversee port services, leading the port community in the constant pursuit of operational excellence and contributing to the development of its area of ​​influence, all while maintaining a balance with the environment.

The Port of Marín is located in the Pontevedra Estuary, an environmentally and socially sensitive area. The port embraces its role as a driving force for the local economy and job creation, as well as its status as a public company serving the general interest of its users, businesses, and the local residents with whom it operates.

Commercial Court Judges from across Spain Visit the Port
The Port Authority welcomed attendees of the Meeting of Commercial Courts yesterday. Judges from across Spain are currently holding their annual meeting in Pontevedra. The judges toured the port facilities accompanied by the Authority's president, Jose Benito Suárez Costa. The annual meeting of Commercial Court judges serves to address the main legal challenges in insolvency, corporate, and intellectual property matters. This year, they expressed interest in visiting the Port of Marín to also analyze the legal and commercial implications of port activity, cargo handling, and maritime safety, among other aspects. Guided by the Port Authority president, the judges toured the port's main terminals, including the Covered Terminal, the bulk cargo terminal, the fruit terminal, the container terminal, and the rail-port terminal.
