The Port Authority of Marín has launched a tender, through an open procedure, for technical assistance for the project management of the renovation and improvement works on the interior facilities of the fish market, in its third phase. The base budget for the tender is €35,000 (excluding taxes), and the execution period is 13 months. The project is co-financed by European Funds (FEMPA). Specifically, the insulation and climate control system will be installed in the hall where fish is displayed and sold, located in the port's fish market, which was built in 1976. The improved insulation and the renovation of the building's climate control system will improve energy consumption and enhance the port's sustainability and efficiency. The Port Authority is fully committed to improving the facilities of the fishing sector, as reflected in its Investment Plan and in the successive improvement works that are being carried out.
