The Port Authority of Marín has launched a tender, through an open procedure, for works to improve energy efficiency in port buildings. The base budget for the tender is €515,750.79 (excluding taxes) and the execution period is 6 months. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Specifically, the works, which consist of replacing the air conditioning systems and improving their building envelopes, will be carried out in the Port Operations building, the workshop offices, and the auxiliary services building. These actions complement other significant energy efficiency improvement and carbon footprint reduction projects that the Port Authority is undertaking in its buildings, such as the installation of solar panels for photovoltaic energy use.
