The Port Authority Launches Tender for a New Phase of Improvements to the Fish Market's Interior Facilities
The Port Authority of Marín has published the tender, through an open procedure, for the third phase of renovations and improvements to the fish market's interior facilities. Specifically, the project involves improving the insulation and climate control of the sales hall. The base budget for the tender is €1,724,195.12 (excluding taxes), and the execution period is 11 months. The project is co-financed by the European Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EFFA).
The work will be carried out in the hall where fish is displayed and sold, located in the port's fish market. Improving the insulation and renewing the building's climate control system will improve energy consumption and enhance the port's sustainability and efficiency. The flooring, walls, and drainage system will also be improved. The Port Authority is fully committed to improving the facilities of the fishing sector, as reflected in its Investment Plan and in the successive improvement works that are being carried out.
