The Port Authority visits Axega's facilities as part of its emergency response training plan
The Galician Emergency Agency (Axega) and the Port Authority of Marín are advancing their commitment to improving bilateral communication and mutual assistance in extreme situations with a training course. The activity will take place over two days at the 112 Galicia Integrated Emergency Response Center.
During today and next Monday, members of both organizations, as well as 112 Galicia's response and training staff, will hold separate working meetings to learn about and evaluate current response protocols.
This advances the commitment made through a collaboration agreement, the aim of which is to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in coordination and cooperation during critical situations. It should be noted that the signed agreement reflects the institutions' commitment to providing the necessary resources, both material and human, to address any extremely serious situation that may arise within the Port Authority's area of responsibility.
It was also agreed to carry out activities, such as this one, that contribute to improving information sharing and the proper functioning of action protocols and protection plans.
