The Port Authority awards Prace the contract for renewable energy installations on its buildings
The Port Authority has awarded Prace Servicios y Obras S.A. the contract for the installation of photovoltaic generation systems with storage capabilities on several of its buildings. The project is valued at €1.5 million and has a completion timeframe of nine months.
This initiative, which aligns with the Port Authority's strategic objectives of sustainability, carbon footprint reduction, and improved energy efficiency, is co-financed through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF 4 Program).
The installations will be carried out on the roofs of buildings such as the Port Authority headquarters and the Border Inspection Post (BIP), which are considered ideal locations for solar energy capture, enabling the generation of clean energy.
