Six merchant ships carrying nearly 85,000 tons of cargo are operating in Marín today
Up to six merchant ships are currently docked at the Port of Marín, carrying out various operations involving the loading and unloading of nearly 85,000 tons of cargo.
In addition to the 10,000 tons of containerized cargo from the ship Adilia I at the Adolfo Reboredo Dock, 36,000 tons of wood chips from South Africa are being unloaded, also in the Expansion area. Meanwhile, a bulk carrier arriving from Canada is unloading 33,000 tons of agri-food bulk goods at the Leirós Dock.
These operations are complemented by a shipment of steel products destined for Poland, paper pulp bound for the Netherlands, and the unloading of frozen fish from the holds of the trawler Monteferro, which arrived from the Falkland Islands.
