The Board approves the Port Authority's annual accounts for the 2023 financial year
The Board of Directors approved the Port Authority's annual accounts for the 2023 financial year, following the issuance of the audit report by the State Comptroller General's Office, which states that the accounts present a true and fair view, in all material respects, of the assets and financial position of the Port Authority of Marín and Pontevedra Estuary as of December 31, 2023, as well as its results and cash flows for the year, in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework.
The approved accounts reflect net revenue of nine million euros, similar to that of the previous year, and net income of 1.6 million euros. These results have allowed the Authority to cover current expenses for the year, fulfilling its budgetary commitments, supporting the investment process, and respecting the principle of financial sustainability. with a reasonable return in accordance with port regulations.
Administrative Concession
Following the strategic line of the Port-City relationship, the Board of Directors approved the granting of an administrative concession to the Marín City Council for the nautical and sporting use of the boatyard basin. The City Council has a project for the recovery, cleaning, and improvement of this space to enhance its value and provide continuity to the Marín seafront promenade.
