Frozen fish landings continue to rise at the port
With the arrival this morning of the freezer vessel Igueldo, which will unload more than 1,000 tons of frozen fish, there are now three vessels in port simultaneously handling this cargo, and three more are expected to arrive in the coming days.
Thus, frozen fish landings are expected to continue their upward trend in May, which has been observed through April, with an increase of nearly 5% compared to the same period last year. Along with the Igueldo, the vessels Cassiopea and Monteferro are also unloading at the port, the latter arriving from Montevideo. The freezer vessels Montelourido and Playa de Tambo, both also from Uruguay, are expected to arrive soon.
