Port of Marín sees 5% growth in cargo throughput through September
According to provisional statistical data, the Port of Marín closed the month of September with a cumulative growth rate of 4.9% compared to the same period last year (January–September), with a total volume now exceeding 1.7 million tonnes.
The category with the strongest growth is general cargo—encompassing both containerized and conventional freight—which rose by nearly 13%. Finally, regarding vessel traffic, 11.2% more merchant ships arrived at the port between January and September than had arrived by this same time last year.
