The Port Authority hosts a Port Facility Security Officer course
The Port Authority is holding a refresher course this week for Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs), with the aim of enabling participants to perform this function in compliance with the International ISPS Code and European Regulation 725/2004.
The training, approved by State Ports, is being attended by security and risk prevention personnel from the Port Authority and staff from concessions and private terminal companies.
This course, taught by instructors from the Comismar Group, covers applicable legislation on port security, security plans, contingency plans, inspections, audits, document control, security equipment, access control, cargo control, etc.
